Laminate Flooring Trims and moldings

Trims and moldings are an integral part of any flooring instalation. We have simplified the selection by only including those trims and moldings neccesary for the product you have selected. These are shown on the product detail page below your selected product.See How to order online.

The information contained on this page is everything you need to know to correctly select the trims and moldings you will need, it is a very simple process once armed with the correct information.

     
Quarter round  
Used to provide expansion area coverage where the existing wall base will remain in place.
Reducer
Bridges the gap between two uneven surfaces, reducing from laminate to thinner floor covering products such as vinyl.
 
Square nose
Used to provide a smooth transition from the laminate flooring surface to adjacent carpet installations, sliding glass doors, floor to ceiling windows, or bathtub and shower surrounds.
     
T-molding
 Used to bridge the expansion area required between laminate floors, from one room to another, or as a transition between laminate flooring and a floor of equal height.
     
Stair nose
Used to provide a secure transition from the flooring surface while allowing the floating flooring system to expand and contract freely at the step-down location.
     
Base board
Used to provide an eye-pleasing transition from the laminate floating flooring surface to the adjacent wall while covering the required 5/16' expansion allowance along perimeter walls.
